Screen printing on paper and fabric using all environmentally friendly inks and chemicals.
I started screen printing a few years ago to balance out an often frustrating job as an Art Director in the ad industry. Screen printing gave me the freedom to make things, lots of things, away from the computer, clients, and restraints. I'm still focused on selling what i create but with my screen printing the ultimate goals are just to either make people smile or to help spread a positive message.
The Chicago el series was inspired by a daily bike ride to work under the Pink and Green Lines on Lake Street. All images are created from photos taken while biking around the city, following each line and enjoying the views.
